James A. Nelson, DDS Dr. Jim Nelson has been practicing dentistry in Bismarck since 1985. Dr. Nelson grew up in Ortonville, MN. He completed his undergraduate studies at North Dakota State University in Fargo and then went on to graduate with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. He resides in Bismarck with his wife Lorri. Some of Dr. Jim’s hobbies include golfing, hunting, traveling, going to movies, flying and ranching. Maria “Duffy” Meyer, DDS Dr. Duffy Meyer is a 1996 Honor Graduate of Killdeer High School. She received an AA degree through an exchange student program at Minnesota State University Akita in Akita, Japan and a BA/BS in biology and a BA in Spanish from Dickinson State University. She graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in Denver, CO. Dr. Duffy is married to Mathew, a native of Gladstone, ND. They are the proud parents of a daughter, Reilly and a son, Hugh. Her hobbies include scrap-booking, camping and children’s activities.
